Hello and welcome!

This website was originally set up for my two adult daughters so they could keep up with my whereabouts as I be-bop around the planet. However, the website’s scope has grown to include my experiences in and of the world. So, the question Where’s Dad At? may refer to where I am physically, mentally, spiritually, intellectually, or even philosophically … as inspired by traveling, discovering who I am. I share experiences from the road, travel related stuff, and life advice too.

Please keep in mind that the posts are written to my daughters. This explains why the posts start with "Dear Daughters", "Hey girls", their nicknames, or some such variant. It does not matter how old they get; they will always be my little girls.

In short, this website is my sharing with my little girls the adventures I’m having as I do what I love, traveling.

Hi Girls. I wanted to share my latest thinking on why I feel such an urge to travel all the time. I was doing some scholarly literature research into Marvin Zuckerman’s Sensation Seeking personality trait concepts. In one of the pieces I read, I found a reference to something called the Constancy Principle of Breuer and Freud.
